When a ‘God’ Is Just a Bigot for Your Money
On Tuesday, God’s Not Dead star Kevin Bacon revealed that he would like to donate to President Trump’s charitable foundation in an interview with ABC News.
In his interview with “Good Morning America,” Bacon said that he has not been a “big fan” of the president and would like the opportunity to contribute to his foundation.
“I think he’s a terrible president.
I think he can do better than what he’s done so far.
I have a problem with the way he’s handled his campaign, and I think it’s just a problem for his foundation,” Bacon explained.
“He’s doing a lot of bad things, and they’re putting their money in his pocket and then he’s just kind of sitting back and letting them do whatever they want.”
Bacon added that the “God” franchise has had “many bad years” in recent years, but that the series will get back on track in 2017.
“We’re coming back strong.
We’re gonna be good again, and we’re gonna get back to where we were and where we want to be,” he said.
“I think we’re a lot better now than we were in 2017.”
The God series began airing on ABC in 2017 after a brief hiatus in 2018.
The series was picked up for a second season in 2019, but then canceled after two seasons.
In 2020, the show’s creators announced that they would be working on a reboot of the series.
In 2021, the series aired its final episode.
